Today, I was fortunate to visit two mental health organizations that serve the 14th District to learn more about ways we can work together to continue to increase the visibility and accessibility of mental health care.

First, I toured the Counseling Center of the North Shore in Winnetka, providing access to high-quality mental health service to the community. Winnetka Thrift Shop operates just in front of CCNS and 100% of proceeds benefit mental health services offered by CCNS.

Next, I visited Josselyn, a leader in comprehensive mental health care for over 70 years. We discussed the growing need for mental health services, as well as the vital importance of inclusive and equitable mental health care for everyone in our communities.
